Glen Alpine Fire Department was dispatched to a tractor trailer that had hit a power pole and knocked down lines.  Upon arrival the truck was sitting at the intersection of London and Causby Rd.   Power crews, phone company, and cable companys where called out to fix the lines.  About 1500 people was with out phones for the better part of the day.
